Welcome to Glebe Farm, a family friendly visitor attraction set in the picturesque village of Astbury, south Cheshire.
There’s something for the whole family at Glebe Farm; coffee shop, farm shop, butcher’s, fishmonger’s and an interesting selection of independently owned shops and businesses, nestled in the farm’s barns and outbuildings.
There’s a children’s play area and tractor rides at weekends and during the summer.
And not forgetting the star attraction – the animals; Alpaca, Donkeys, Ponies, Goats and more, which are kept in the paddocks, fields and pens around the farm.
All with free entry and free parking.

Covid – 19 update

Here’s our latest update of what is open at Glebe Farm.
Being outdoors is particularly important at the moment, it’s so good for health and mental wellbeing. So, wrap up warm, wear suitable footwear and come and visit us at the farm. Glebe Farm is a mini village in the countryside with something for everyone!
OPEN All shops are now open. If you are coming specially for a particular shop, please check directly with them for their opening hours.
OPEN The café is now open for takeaway food and drink. Seating is available undercover in the gazebo. Please follow the ‘rule of six’ guidance for outdoor dining.
We also have now have indoor seating available. Single households only please for indoor dining.
The café is open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday (last food orders 4pm) and 9am to 3.30pm on Sundays (last food orders 3pm).
OPEN The ice cream counter is now serving scoop ice cream and a selection of Ice lollies from the outdoor servery or via the farm shop if the servery is closed.
OPEN You can come and see our animals in their pens, paddocks and barn. Animal food is available to buy from inside the farm shop.
OPENING SOON Our newly refurbished aviary will be open very soon – watch this space!
OPEN Our mini digger is now working for your little ones to practice their digging. We also now have our ‘race track’ available near the farm shop.
OPEN All service businesses – dog groomers, hair salon, outdoor gym etc are now open. These businesses all operate by appointment. Please see the business directory on our website for a full list of Glebe Farm businesses.
OPEN The toilets near the barn are open. There is an accessible toilet and baby changing there too.
CLOSED We are unable to offer tractor rides at the moment
FREE ENTRY AND NO NEED TO BOOK
There is no charge to visit Glebe Farm and see our animals and you do not need to book. Please take a little time to explore our independent shops and businesses around the farm. They have all worked so hard to stay open or re-open safely.
We welcome well behaved dogs on leads. Most of the farm is dog friendly, although dogs are not allowed in our food shops.
All our shops are operating safely with social distancing and limits to the number of people allowed in at a time. So you can be reassured that you can shop comfortably.
WEAR A FACE COVERING WHERE REQUIRED Please note that it is now mandatory to wear a face covering in all shops unless you are exempt. Please refer to the latest .gov information to check exemptions. Face masks are available to buy from Astbury Floral and the Farm Shop.
USE HAND SANITISER
We have hand sanitising stations around the farm, however we do suggest that you bring your own to ensure you can use it wherever you are.
MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING
We totally understand that it is difficult for small children to maintain social distancing. All we ask is that you try your best to keep them close to you.
Please be aware of others around you and respect their space.
