Glebe Farm’s animals really are the main attraction.
Many of the animals in the care of the farm have been rescued, or are on long term loan.
Glebe Farm Animals
There is no charge to visit and enjoy spending time with Glebe Farm’s animals.
You can expect to see Alpacas, Donkeys, Goats, Sheep, Pigs, Horses and Ponies, Chickens, Ducks, Geese, Parakeets – and the occasional surprise!
Enjoy the farm experience
To make more of your stay, why not buy some animal feed which is available to buy from the farm shop? It’s a great way for your children to have a close up experience with the animals.
Feeding the babies
Throughout the year, there will be baby animals at Glebe Farm. These could include lambs and goat kids which quite often require regular bottle feeding. If you are really lucky and time it just right, you may be able to help.
Please see Glebe Farm’s Facebook page for more information about the day to day animal activities at the farm.
Please note
We want you to enjoy your visit to Glebe Farm every time you visit, but please be aware that animals can be unpredictable, and some of our Glebe Farm animals are rather large too! It is important to ensure that you closely supervise the children in your care while they feed and stroke the animals. Please take note of the safety signage around the farm.
The proceeds from the sale of the bagged feed contribute towards the welfare and care of the animals. The quanitity and contents of the feed may vary throughought the year, dependent of the requirements of the animals.
Hand washing facilities are available near the animal barn and in the play area, so please make sure you wash your hands after touching or feeding the animals.
